Steamed Apples with Cinnamon and Dates

Preparation
  1. Heat ghee in a small pot.
  2. Add apples, dates, cinnamon, and ginger, and lightly sauté.
  3. Deglaze with a small splash of water.
  4. Cover and simmer on low heat for 10 minutes until apples are soft.
  5. Serve warm – alone or as a porridge topping.
