Thennal M. S. combines the traditional wisdom of yoga, Sanskrit, and Ayurveda into an authentic, holistic teaching style. She earned her master’s degree in Yogic Science from Mangalore University in 2025, her bachelor’s degree in Sanskrit from the Central Sanskrit University in 2023, and a diploma in yoga and Ayurveda from the Guruvayoor Campus of the same university in 2022.
Preserving the Original Wisdom of Yoga
Her journey in yoga began while she was studying Sanskrit, when she was introduced to classical yogic texts and became increasingly immersed in the philosophy behind the practice. This led to her desire to teach yoga as a comprehensive path to physical, mental, and spiritual well-being.
Thennal specializes in traditional Hatha Yoga, pranayama, Sanskrit recitation, and yoga philosophy. Mindfulness, compassion, and balance characterize her teaching. During internships at the Yoga Kshama Yoga Center and Mangalore University, she gained experience in teaching and therapeutic applications. As a yoga therapist, her goal is to combine Ayurveda and classical yoga knowledge to create healing, individually tailored programs.
