Our staff are focused on the well-being of our guests both in public and behind the scenes. The employees in red seen on the right in the foreground of the picture ensure, for example, that the rooms are clean and the linen is changed. The Ayurveda team consists of doctors, therapists and yoga teachers. Lots of other small teams work alongside them at Somatheeram in areas such as the Ayurveda restaurant, at reception and doing garden maintenance. Once a year – when the resort is closed for renovation work and staff training – we hold a “staff day” event. We have a big party and staff are able to show their families where they work.
